The Kosovo Insurance Bureau (BKS) is a professional, non-profit organization. According to the law, its main governing bodies are:

General Assembly: The Bureau's highest decision-making body.
Internal Audit Function: This function reports to both the General Assembly of Members and the Audit Committee.
Administrative Council: Oversees the Bureau's work and makes strategic decisions.
Executive Director: Manages daily operations and implements the decisions of the Administrative Council.

Legal, Administration, and Training: Handles legal matters, administrative management, and staff professional development.
Green Card and MoU Department: Manages obligations arising from membership in the Green Card system.
Border Insurance Department: Responsible for insuring foreign vehicles at the border and managing the border sales points.
Information Center Department: Handles the distribution of information and communication with the public and stakeholders.
Finance and Accounting Department: Plans and manages the organization’s finances and liquidity, prepares and reports financial statements in accordance with applicable standards and regulations, ensures legal and regulatory compliance, and guarantees financial transparency and accountability.
